Where we are now...

Is something neither of us could ever have expected. A year ago, I (Raven) lived in California, making dice for myself and my party in my bedroom at my mother's house. This is how Philip and I met, an altogether unsuccessful game of online D&D we found from a Reddit posting. We were friends first, two players whose characters stumbled into a romance before we did the same ourselves. Both of Asian-American descent, both mentally ill, and both willing to support each other, we forged a relationship in the fires of our lives.

I moved to Massachusetts in January of 2021, and by August, we were forging dice together in our now shared basement. Both of us had too many stories to tell, stories of heroism and bravery, trickery and deceit, adventure and loss. There were so many characters to pay homage to and so many moments we wanted to immortalize beyond the memories we had of them. So we made dice... and have kept making dice and will continue to make them. It's hard to run out of stories to tell when a group of your favorite people come together as often as possible to tell new ones alongside you.

If you're wondering about the dragons... that's Ophi and Oscar. Anytime Philip has a familiar or a pet in a game of D&D, he names them Ophi. So when I forced upon him a home-sewn and hand-embroidered t-shirt with a red dragon on it, her name became Ophi. I made a test shirt for myself first, a black dragon whom I named Oscar. Hence, our mascots - two baby dragons named Ophi and Oscar who work around the clock to help us run our little shop if bits and bobs.
